Greeting Card: The Spot Prawn

Celebrating the beloved spot prawn. 

Spot prawns are the largest species of shrimp in our local waters. They inhabit the sandy or rocky sea floor, often near boulders and crevices that provide shelter and places to hide. Known for their natural sweetness and firm texture, spot prawns are considered a delicacy. The commercial harvest in BC runs for a brief season between May and June.
