About the Artist

Tania Leon is a sea/food artist and illustrator based in the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, BC.

For over a decade, she has chased her passions in sustainable food, seafood, and ocean conservation. This path has given her the humble opportunity to witness and collaborate with some of the most inspiring sea/food folks along our coastline — from chefs, fishers, harvesters and distributors to marine biologists, educators and countless people who have devoted their life to embracing the sea.

Her artwork and illustrations are inspired by these experiences and her desire to share our local, natural and culinary treasures that make this region so special.
